Ideal for both wade and boat fishing, the waters have Tribal regulations, making this navigable river one of the most private in the state.
The Wind River Ranch’s 2.5 miles of live water offers endless challenges for the most passionate anglers. Considered to be one of the best big fish sections in the state, trophy browns, rainbows, and cutthroats prowl these waters in numbers with excellent fishing from end of runoff through October. Large terrestrial flies work well as the water clears through August with excellent caddis hatches all season that provide excellent dry fly fishing for large 26+ inch trout.
